Getting started
What is Zozy?
Zozy is a personal inventory app for iPhone. Take a photo of any item you own. Zozy uses AI to identify it, generate a description, and estimate what it's worth based on recently sold listings. Your items are saved to a private inventory you can search, filter, and organize by room.
How does it work?
Open the app, point your camera at an item, and tap the shutter. Zozy's AI identifies the item and fills in the details automatically. You review, edit if needed, and save. The whole process takes about 15 seconds per item.
Is Zozy free?
Zozy is free to download and use. The free plan lets you scan items, get AI-generated descriptions, and build your inventory. Fair market value (FMV) estimates are available on the Annual plan.
What devices does Zozy support?
Zozy is available for iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
Do I need to create an account?
Yes. Zozy requires sign-in with Apple or Google so your inventory syncs securely and your data is backed up. We don't support email/password login at this time.
AI and Valuations
How does the AI identify my items?
Zozy uses a combination of image recognition and language models to analyze your photo. It identifies the item, generates a title and description, and categorizes it. All AI-generated content is labeled so you know what was created automatically.
How are fair market value (FMV) estimates calculated?
FMV estimates are based on recently sold comparable items from major online marketplaces. Zozy shows you a price range (for example, $85 to $120), not a single number. The estimate reflects what similar items have actually sold for, not asking prices.
Are FMV estimates the same as professional appraisals?
No. Zozy provides estimated values based on market data. These are not professional appraisals and should not be used as legal or insurance valuations. For high-value items or legal purposes, consult a certified appraiser.
Can I edit the AI-generated details?
Yes. Every field Zozy fills in is fully editable. You can change the title, description, category, condition, location, notes, and FMV value at any time.
What happens if the AI gets something wrong?
You can edit any detail directly. If the AI can't identify an item, Zozy switches to manual entry mode so you can still add the item to your inventory. You can also provide feedback on FMV estimates to help us improve.
Pricing and Subscriptions
What's included in the free plan?
The free plan includes photo scanning, AI-generated item descriptions, inventory management (browse, search, filter, edit, delete), and organization by room and category.
What does the annual plan include?
The Annual plan unlocks fair market value estimates powered by real sold-listing data. When you scan an item, you can swipe to reveal what it's worth.
How do I subscribe?
You can upgrade to the Annual plan from within the app. Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store using your Apple ID payment method.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID settings, not inside Zozy. To manage or cancel, go to iPhone Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Zozy. You can also manage subscriptions directly from the App Store. Canceling stops future charges, but your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Will my price ever change?
If pricing changes in the future, existing subscribers will be notified in advance per Apple's subscription policies. Any price change requires your consent before it takes effect.
